Below are the first images of the costumes for the upcoming Watchmen movie. To put it eloquently, “I love me some Watchmen”, but I don’t know about these photos. I mean the costumes don’t look bad but they don’t really look all that great either. Sorta like a mini-cooper or Jennifer Aniston.

I want to be excited by The Watchman movie, but these photos make me dread it. everything is too shiny and over done. Nothing looks dirty, gritty or teetering on the brink of Apocalypse enough. Alan Moore adaptations have not fared well anyhow, “League of Ex. Gents” made me vomit in my mouth and “V for Vendetta” came out gayer than cum on a mustache. If there are at least some cool Rorschach scenes, maybe I won’t exit the theater and break my head completely in half on the sidewalk right in front of all the kiddies waiting to see “Shrek 18.”
